# Kitelife

Made by Tagnext Tecnologia (Brazil). The product is used by kitesurf schools in Brazil
and Europe and is also a fit for windsurf, wing foil, hydrofoil and surf schools, which
share the same structure: instructors, students, hour packages and beach conditions.

## Who it is for

- Kitesurf school owners who run the agenda on WhatsApp and track credits on paper.
- Instructors who need their own schedule, student list and payable amounts.
- Students, who sign the school contract and follow their lessons and credits in the app.

## What it does

- **Lesson scheduling**: day, week, month and list views. Conflicts between instructor,
  student and time slot are detected before the lesson is saved; only free slots show up.
- **Credits in hours**: packages carry a number of hours, a discipline and a price, so one
  package covers lessons of different lengths. The balance is debited the moment the
  lesson is booked, not when it happens, and completion settles the difference between
  planned and real time. Canceling returns the hours; a no-show does not. Booking with no
  balance is allowed and the balance goes negative, which is the debt to collect.
- **Instructors**: sports taught, languages spoken and hourly rate per instructor, each
  with their own login, agenda and payable amounts.
- **Digital contracts**: the school's own contract template in PDF, signed by the student
  on their phone during registration, before they can take a lesson. Electronic signature
  recognized in Brazil under MP 2.200-2/2001.
- **Notifications**: push when a lesson is confirmed, canceled, rescheduled or has the
  instructor swapped, for student and instructor. WhatsApp on Pro.
- **School panel on the web**: app.kitelife.com.br, same account as the mobile app, for
  owners and managers who prefer a big screen.
- **Multi-school**: a student or instructor can belong to more than one school and switch
  between them in the app. Data is isolated between schools.

## Plans

- **Free**: up to 2 active instructors, unlimited students and lessons, scheduling with
  conflict detection, student registration and onboarding, digital contracts, credit
  packages with balance and debt tracking, payment methods and the instructor payout
  calculation. No end date, no credit card.
- **Pro**: R$ 309.90 a month or R$ 3,099.90 a year. Unlimited instructors, seasonality
  and occupancy reports, cash transactions with PDF and CSV export, manual cash entries,
  equipment with usage tracking and service alerts, team management with roles and
  permissions, and WhatsApp notices. Priced per school, not per instructor or student.
- Every new school starts with 30 days of Pro, no card. Going back to Free deletes
  nothing: instructors over the limit are frozen with their history and reactivate on
  resubscribing.
